Channel Portal: Blocking or Deleting a Sub-Workspace

Blocking or Deleting a Sub-Workspace

As an admin or owner of a channel workspace, you can block or delete a sub-workspace to manage access and maintain control over your workspace structure.
Depending on your Backoffice settings, you will see Block and/or Delete buttons in the sub-workspace management interface.

Delete Sub-Workspace

  1. Delete Action
    1. Clicking Delete opens a confirmation window explaining the consequences of deletion.
    2. If you confirm, the sub-workspace is permanently removed.
    3. If you cancel, the window closes and no changes are made.

Block / Activate Sub-Workspace

  1. Block Action
    1. Clicking Block sets the sub-workspace status to Blocked = true in the system.
    2. The Block button changes to Activate.
    3. While blocked, the sub-workspace is treated as deactivated—users will not be able to log in.
  2. Activate Action
    1. Clicking Activate reverses the block, restoring access to the sub-workspace.
Idea
Tip: Use Block if you need to temporarily restrict access without permanently deleting data. Use Delete only when you are certain the sub-workspace is no longer needed.
