AI Studio is the administrative control center for the frontline.io AI ecosystem. It allows Workspace Administrators to upload, review, and manage the specific data sources that the AI Assist uses to answer user queries. By integrating your organization’s proprietary documentation directly into the AI’s "brain," you ensure that the support provided to your team is factually grounded in your specific technical standards.
Through AI Studio, managers can bridge the gap between static PDF/Word manuals and a dynamic, conversational AI assistant.
Uploading and Integrating Project Files
AI Studio enables the ingestion of supplemental files to enhance the accuracy of the AI Assist. When a user interacts with the chatbot, the system scans these uploaded documents in real-time to retrieve precise information.
The system currently supports standard technical documentation formats, including .pdf and .doc(x). Once integrated, these files serve as a primary truth source, allowing the AI to provide technical data that may not be present in the general knowledge base.
Managing Information Visibility
A key feature of AI Studio is the ability to control how information is presented to the end user. Managers can define the level of transparency for every uploaded document:
- Exposed Files: When a file is set to "Exposed," the AI Assist can directly reference and link to the source material, allowing users to open the original document for verification.
- Hidden Files: If a file is set to "Hidden," the AI will use the information contained within the document to formulate its answers but will not grant the end user direct access to the raw file. This is ideal for sensitive internal documentation.
Testing before Deployment
To maintain high information standards, AI Studio includes a "Sandbox" environment for managers to validate data before it reaches the field.
- Upload: Add the relevant technical files to the Studio.
- Review: Managers can interact with a dedicated test version of the AI Assist. This allows you to verify that the AI is interpreting the uploaded files correctly and providing the expected level of detail.
- Publish: Once the information is verified, the manager can publish the updates.
- Immediate Availability: Upon publishing, the new knowledge is instantly accessible to all authorized users across the workspace.
