Introduction

Have you ever found yourself wondering where all your files, pictures, videos, and digital twin main builds are stored? Look no further than the Media section located in the left menu at the bottom of all the sections.

In this article, we'll show you how to access and manage your media files on the platform.

Folders

Once you click on the Media button, a new window will pop up - this is your media folder. At the top of the window, you'll notice different view filters available within the Media folder. These include:

  • All: where you can see all the different types of files together.

  • Images: where you can see all the image files.

  • Videos: where you can see all the video files.

  • PDF: where you can find all the PDF files.

  • Standard 3D: where you can find any 3D files you have uploaded (excluding digital twin files).

  • Frontline 3D: where you can find all the digital twin core files.

Using these filters, you can easily locate and manage the specific types of files you need to see in your media folder.

Organize your workspace

Keeping your workspace organized is essential for finding your files quickly and efficiently. To do this, you can create new folders within the Media section.

Click on the Create folder Icon on the right side of the screen, name it and that's it,

To create a folder, simply click on the "Create Folder" icon located on the right side of the screen. Give it a name, and you're all set.

You can then drag and drop your files into the folder, and rename or delete the folder as needed by right-clicking on it.

Uploading Your Files

To upload your files, you have two options:

  1. Drag and Drop: Simply drag your files from your computer into the Media window and upload them. This function works both on the main screen and after clicking on the "Upload Media" button.

  2. Upload from Computer: Navigate to the folder on your computer where the file is located, and select it to upload.

File information

When you click on a file, you can access its basic information, including the file type, size, date added, and who added it. Additionally, there is a "Used in" feature that shows you which procedure is currently using the file, which can be helpful.

If you need to delete the file, you can do so directly from this screen. You can also use the Crop & Edit feature, which allows you to make edits to the file without leaving the platform.

Crop & Edit

By clicking on the Crop & Edit button, you will open a new window with a variety of editing tools. Here, you can customize your picture by adding colors, stickers, text, or by making quick drawings. The options for editing your file are endless.

Once you've finished editing, don't forget to click the save button. The edited file will be saved as a duplicate, preserving the original file in its original state.
