Introducing frontline.io version 23.1 - Our sleek new look and feel are finally here! Experience a refreshed and updated interface that will make your workflow smoother and more efficient.

Some buttons or menus may have moved or have a different appearance, but rest assured that all the functionalities you're used to are still available. Let's see them, shall we?

Welcome Back!

Notice anything different?

We've updated the log in screen in the latest version of the app! When you download the update, you'll be greeted by a fresh new look. But don't worry, you can still create a new account or log in as a guest, just like before. The only thing that's changed is the appearance.

Once you're past the login screen, you'll be prompted to choose your workspace and start exploring inside it. Simply select the workspace that applies to you and you're good to go.

Three Simple Columns

We're thrilled to announce significant improvements to the workspace screen in the frontline.io app version 23.1!
No more scrolling back and forth to navigate through windows - everything is now visible at all times.

Take a look at the image above to see the new and improved layout, featuring three simple columns:

  • The first column (pink) includes the main features of our app: Knowledge Base, where you can access your Digital Twin and procedures; Remote Support, which enables you to call, chat with, and receive remote help from your coworkers; and Virtual Room, a

space to meet and collaborate with colleagues inside a Digital Twin.

  • The second column (purple) introduces one of our new features, allowing you to see your favorite Digital Twin, procedures, and media files. To add a new item to your favorites list, simply right-click and select 'Add to Favorites.

Also, we added the feature to see which Digital Twin, procedures, or file you watched recently and jump to it again without needing to search for it.
Just click on the 3 dots icon next to the desired item and select "Open item location"

  • The third column (blue) lets you interact with your Digital Twin, procedures, and media files.

As you navigate through the different folders of your workspace, you'll see a folder hierarchy structure that lets you go deeper into the contents of each folder. Take a look at the image below for an example:

  • Showroom - the project

    • Generator - a folder for a specific Digital Twin

      • Procedures - a folder containing the procedures for the Digital Twin

To move back and forth between folders, simply click on each 'stage' of the folder structure and the app will update the view accordingly.

Please, note that the folder hierarchy structure may vary depending on how you organize your project folders. However, the functionality remains the same.

Virtual Room - Create a new room

Our virtual room has been updated with new features to improve your experience. In addition to accessing a digital twin, you can now create or join a virtual room from the main menu.

To create a new virtual room, simply click on the "Create Room" button and choose which digital twin you want to use. You can also schedule meetings in advance within the virtual room, making it easy to plan ahead.

If you have an existing room ID, you can easily join a virtual room by entering the ID in the designated field. This streamlined process ensures that you can quickly connect with others, no matter where you are.

The Top tab

We've also made some changes to the top tab for maximum efficiency! In addition to a sleek new design, you'll find several new options that enhance your user experience:

  • A search bar lets you easily find files inside your project.

  • The notification button (the bell) keeps you up to date with what's new and what has changed.

  • The avatar button gives you access to your account settings and allows you to switch between workspaces (if available) or log out from the app.

  • The 3-dots icon opens up a drop-down menu with additional options:

    • Open recorder, which lets you record videos and take pictures inside the app.

    • Show version, which shows you the current version of the app you have installed.

    • Show unpublished items, a helpful tool for content creators to see which procedures haven't been published to other users.

    • Send logs, which is especially useful for support.

    • Exit the app.

Conclusion

We hope you're excited to explore the new and improved UI in frontline.io! Our latest version, 23.1, features a fresh look and feel, as well as several enhancements that make navigating the app easier and more intuitive than ever before.

From the updated login screen to the streamlined workspace screen, you'll notice changes throughout the app that help you find what you need more efficiently.

Whether you're a content creator, service support agent, or an operator collaborating with colleagues, we believe these changes will help you work more effectively and get more done in less time.
