Updated over a week ago

Introducing frontline.io version 23.1 for mobile devices - Our sleek new look and feel has arrived!

We're excited to present you with a refreshed and updated interface that will make your workflow smoother and more efficient than ever before.

Some buttons or menus may have moved or have a different appearance, but rest assured that all the functionalities you're used to are still available. Let's see them, shall we?

Welcome Back!

Notice anything different?

We've updated the login screen in the latest version of the app! When you download the update, you'll be greeted by a fresh new look. But don't worry, you can still create a new account or log in as a guest, just like before. The only thing that's changed is the appearance.

Once you're past the login screen, you'll be prompted to choose your workspace and start exploring inside it. Simply select the workspace that applies to you and you're good to go.

Knowledge base

When you first log in, you will land on the knowledge base screen. This is where you can access all of your project folders. From here, you can select a specific project and interact with its various digital twins, procedures, and media elements. Use the search bar or filters to quickly find the project you're looking for.

Knowledge base View filters

At the top of the window, below the search bar, you have 2 different filters, Flow & Media and the Digital Twin filters.

Flow & Media

Selecting this filter will display all the procedures and media elements associated with your project, including various pictures, videos, and documents.

Digital Twin

If your project has many procedures and media elements, finding the Digital Twin can be challenging. Use the "Digital Twin" filter to show only the Digital Twin of your project, making it easier to access and view its details.

Navigating through folders

To access the contents of a folder, simply click on it and you'll be taken inside where you can view all the different elements it contains. If you want to go back to the previous folder, just click on its name at the top of the screen and you'll be redirected.

Please, note that the folder hierarchy structure may vary depending on how you organize your project folders. However, the functionality remains the same.

Remote Support and Virtual Rooms

Virtual Room

Clicking on the Virtual Room icon will allow you to enter a room ID of an existing virtual room.

Please note that for mobile users, you can't open a virtual room and only join an existing one.

Remote support

Although our new version of remote support remains largely unchanged, we've made some updates based on our user's feedback. One notable addition is the Users List button, now prominently located on the main remote support screen.

With just a click, you can access a comprehensive list of all users currently sharing the workspace with you, making it easier than ever to initiate a call with your coworkers.

The envelope Icon will send the contact an email with the link to the meeting room, and the phone Icon will start a call immediately with him.

Notifications Bar and Settings

Notifications Bar

The Notifications Bar is located at the bottom of the screen and can be accessed by clicking on the notifications button, which is the last button in the tab. This feature allows you to view updates on your projects, tasks, and any changes made to your Digital Twin.

Settings (Avatar button)

The avatar button gives you access to your account settings and some of the app settings and features.

  • Switch between workspaces (if available).

  • Log out from the app.

  • Open recorder, which lets you record videos and take pictures inside the app.

  • Show version, which shows you the current version of the app you have installed.

  • Show unpublished items, a helpful tool for content creators to see which procedures haven't been published to other users.

  • Send logs, which is especially useful for support.

  • Exit the app.

Conclusion

frontline.io version 23.1 for mobile devices introduces a sleek new look and feel that promises to make your workflow smoother and more efficient.

The updated login screen, knowledge base view filters, and remote support enhancements are just a few of the many features that this new version has to offer.

The notifications bar and settings menu has also been improved, giving users greater control and visibility over their projects and tasks.
