End User Access Options to Content

frontline.io provides several solutions for training and support. This article deals with one of these solutions, the access to content, like Interactive flows and the use of Digital Twins by end-users.

For the creation of interactive flows see article: Interactive Flow Builder (aka Procedure Editor).

End-users can access content in several ways:

  1. frontline.io

  2. QR Codes

  3. Guest Link

  4. Embedded link (LMS)

1. frontline.io

(Relevance: all devices)

The user can access frontline.io with a user name and password. The user will have access to Interactive Flows and Digital Twins according to the defined role. See more information on: How to invite users to frontline.io and User Management

2. QR Codes

(Relevance: mobile devices, Magic Leap and HoloLens 2)

The user can scan the QR code with a mobile device. The user, either needs to login to frontline.io or can view the content on the app without logging in, depending if Pay-Per-Session is initiated.

If the user is using the HoloLens, a pop up will show the play button. Pressing the Play button will trigger the content. Also in this case, the user either needs to login to frontline.io or can view the content without logging in, depending if Pay-Per-Session is initiated.

The user can click on the link and will be directed to the published Interactive Flow, which will run in the Web. There is no need for the user to sign in. Note that content should be published with Pay-Per-Session.

4. Deep link

frontline.io Interactive Flows can be accessed from within a third party SW. For example an LMS. The user either needs to login to frontline.io or can view the content without logging in, depending if Pay-Per-Session is initiated.
