Introduction
This first version of 2025 is an exciting version in which we take big steps to one of our goals this year and this is the capabilities available in the 3D Studio to make them available for the broader audience and eliminate the need for external applications for content creation. 
One example is the Fast Track Pro and a significant other is the Object Tracking target setting now available in the Digital Twin Editor inside frontline.io. 

Content Creation: 

Fast Track Pro

(Relevant role: Advanced Content Creator) 
Fast Track Pro revolutionizes Digital Twin creation, making it faster and more seamless within the frontline.io app. Skip wait times and take full control directly from the app and enables changes in the model heirarchy

Key Features
  1. Direct CAD Import: Upload CAD files directly into the app.
  2. Seamless Workflow: Manage everything in one place.
  3. Enhanced Customization: Upgrade your Digital Twin with advanced editing tools.
  4. New FLDT Format: Optimized for performance and easy sharing.
Digital Twin Editor Upgrades: Merge CADs, modify hierarchy, export parts, use the slicer tool, and customize backgrounds.

Object Target Creation in Digital Twin Editor

(Relevant role: Advanced Content Creator) 

This new feature enables Object Target creation directly within the frontline.io app. With this update, advanced content creators can now establish primary and secondary object targets using the Digital Twin Editor, eliminating the need for frontline.io 3D Studio. 

Key Enhancements:

  1. Target Model Selection – Choose a specific part of your model, whether it’s the entire structure, a subsystem, or a smaller section.
  2. Object Target Creation – Anchor digital twins effectively, ensuring accurate positioning even when moving components.
  3. Seamless Workflow – Easily select a part, assign it as a target, and confirm it visually through an updated thumbnail preview.
  4. Greater Flexibility & Customization – Improve AR/MR experiences with precise object targeting and enhanced interactivity.
This update streamlines the content creation process, offering more control, efficiency, and accuracy when working with digital twins. Start leveraging this feature today to create more immersive AR/MR workflows!

Known Issues

Mobile:
  1. AR Debugger Issues: Sometimes, what you see in AR might not line up correctly.
  2. "Show Model" State Not Retained When Opening a Procedure
  3. Immersive Room: Guest Avatar is missing
  4. Long workspace name goes out of bound
  5. Switch from Object Target to Manual will not save last placement when opening AR again

PC:
  1. FastTrack Pro: Rollback Doesn't Affect Hierarchy Changes
  2. Remote Support: Video stream flipped when Mobile devices view PC stream

HoloLens
  1. Knowledge Base Item Thumbnails Exceed Their Mask
