In this latest update, we have introduced several key features and enhancements designed to improve usability and streamline user experience.
Notably, the Parts Catalog now includes more intuitive Selection Tools and a Spare Parts Toggle for better part filtering.
Additionally, Remote Support has been improved with instant Toast Notifications and a new Reconnection Status Indicator, ensuring users are always informed of call connection changes.

This release also addresses several bugs, enhancing overall functionality across multiple scenarios, including Go To Node Behavior, mobile participant visibility in immersive rooms, and more.
Read on for detailed descriptions of the new features, improvements, and resolved issues.

Animation Builder

Improved Animation Builder Usability and Consistency

This update streamlines the Animation Builder experience by retaining the editor's previous settings, allowing users to pick up where they left off without reconfiguring from scratch. Now, when editing animations, the following data will persist to enhance workflow and reduce redundant setup:

  • X-ray State: Retains X-ray settings.
  • Visibility: Saves visibility for all parts.
  • Group Names: Preserves custom group names.

Behavior in Animation Builder:

  • When reopening an animation, only parts marked as "visible" will appear, using the saved group names.

Behavior in Procedures:

  • The Procedure Player will fetch animations while ignoring editor-specific data, ensuring a focused playback experience.

This improvement delivers a more consistent animation editing process, reducing setup time and enhancing usability.

Parts Catalog

Search Settings
The new search settings panel allows users to customize and save search preferences directly within the parts catalog.
  1. Access the search settings panel easily from the parts catalog under Tools
  2. Adjustable layout: the panel is draggable on PC and full-screen on mobile.
  3. Persistent settings: user preferences are saved instantly and retained across sessions.
  4. Consistent availability: the search panel can be accessed from any location where the parts catalog is available.

Multi Part Search
Users can now search for multiple parts at once within the parts catalog by entering terms separated by a designated character, such as a comma. This update enables more efficient and flexible part searches.

Feature Highlights:
  1. Simultaneous Searches: Enter terms separated by commas (e.g., "Test, Screw, Car") to search for multiple parts in one action. Each term is treated individually, so results will include parts that match any of the listed terms.
  2. Exact Matches without Separator: A search without separators (e.g., "Test Screw Car") will return results that match the entire phrase exactly.

Customizable Interface:
  1. Separator Setting: Choose the character that will separate search terms; it defaults to a comma.
  2. Enable/Disable Option: Users can toggle this feature on or off, allowing for flexible search modes as needed.

Spare Parts Toggle in Tools Menu
Relocation of Spare Parts Button:
The "Spare Parts" button is now available as a toggle option under the "Tools" button within the parts catalog.
This update simplifies access to the spare parts view, providing a more efficient way to filter parts within the catalog.

Toggle Behavior:
  1. When toggled ON:
    1. The parts list is filtered to display only spare parts (existing functionality).
    2. The context menu will display the option as "Show all parts."
  2. When toggled OFF:
    1. The parts list will show all available parts.
    2. The context menu will display the option as "Show only spare parts."
  3. Auto-Close: After selecting an option, the context menu will automatically close.

Remote Support

Toast Notification for Call Status
This feature provides instant notifications when users join or leave a remote support call, helping to keep participants aware of changes in the call status.
Toast Notification: A toast message will appear when another user enters or exits the call.
Notification Visibility: Only the user who sent the call invite will receive the toast notification.
Display Format: The notification will show the correct status with the user’s name, e.g., "Alfred joined."
Instant Override: Toasts will appear immediately, overriding any previous notifications.
No Queueing for Multiple Joins: If multiple users join at the same time, only the latest toast will be shown, without queuing notifications.
Handling Ongoing Calls: If the user joins a call where others are already connected, no toast will be shown for those users already in the call.

Reconnection Status Indicator
This update enhances the visibility of users' connection status during remote support calls.
The feature provides a clear indicator when a user is attempting to reconnect.
Reconnection Indicator:
When a user is reconnecting, their name will be displayed as "reconnecting..." to other participants in the call.
