Introduction

Greetings and welcome to the frontline App! We are thrilled to present the Digital Twin area, offering a clean and visually captivating user interface. Get ready for an enhanced experience as we take you through the world of digital twins like never before. Let's explore the possibilities together!

Digital Twin's main menu

Upon entering the digital twin, you'll immediately notice the optimized interface with reduced menus, providing ample space to fully immerse yourself in the digital twin experience. Hovering over the left-side menu will automatically expand it, eliminating the need to manually hide it when you require additional space.

But that's not all! We've introduced a fantastic new feature – the ability to lock and unlock your menus. This gives you the ultimate freedom to rearrange them according to your preference. Tailor the interface to suit your needs and make the most of your digital twin exploration. The power is now in your hands!



Parts Catalog

The Parts Catalog displays all the parts within the Digital Twin in their original uploaded state. Through the Parts Catalog Builder, users have the ability to edit and define these parts, including categorizing them as spare parts.

  • Removed the highlight button

    We've Enhanced Highlighting, Parts are now highlighted automatically upon touch, removing the need for a separate highlight button.

  • List Selection:

We are enhancing the list selection feature by introducing Shift + Click functionality, in addition to the existing Click + Ctrl method. With this enhancement, users can select multiple items in a list by clicking on one item, then holding the Shift key and clicking on another item. This action will automatically select all the items between the two selected ones, streamlining the selection process and improving the user experience.

Hot Spot's

The hot spots Are great for training providing a quick overview. Hot Spots are defined on the 3D Studio level.

Show hot spots feature:

  • Show annotations: This option will display the numbers of the hotspots on the screen

  • Always show description: When selected, this feature will present the names of the hotspots alongside their respective hotspot numbers.

Cycle Hotspots:

This feature allows you to navigate through your hotspots sequentially, giving you the flexibility to adjust the time interval for switching between them.



Operations

The new "Operations" button acts as a centralized hub, bringing together all your familiar custom buttons into one convenient location. This streamlined approach ensures a clutter-free main interface while still providing easy access to essential functions when viewing your digital twin.



Procedures new Interface

The new procedure interaction interface is designed to be intuitive and seamless. When you click on the procedure button in the side menu, you won't be redirected to another window. Instead, your project folders will be directly accessible within the digital twin scene.

Within this environment, you can effortlessly browse through your project folders and select the specific procedure you wish to execute. Say goodbye to the hassle of switching between multiple windows – now you can simply choose your desired procedure and play it directly within the digital twin scene.

Enjoy a smoother and more efficient workflow as you interact with procedures like never before!


Digital Twin's Bottom menu

We are thrilled to introduce the newly upgraded bottom menu, designed to offer a seamless and intuitive experience when interacting with your digital twin.

Extract tool

We've made interacting with your digital twin even more efficient by integrating the Extract tool into the bottom menu. Now, selecting components within your digital twin is a breeze. Simply click on the CTRL button, and a message will appear at the top of the window, indicating that you are in selection mode. This allows you to easily pick and manipulate individual parts of your digital twin.

Switching between move and rotate functions for the selected part has also been simplified. Previously located in the parts catalog, we have now moved these buttons to the bottom menu, eliminating the need to navigate through various menus within the app.

Resetting your parts is now even easier with the addition of the Reset Part button to the bottom menu.



X-ray and Slicer

The X-ray and Enable Slicer view options are still in the side menu as before.

Please note that the availability of the Slicer function in your digital twin is dependent on its permission settings when published. If enabled, you can make the most of this powerful tool to delve deeper into the details and gain valuable insights.

Help and more components

Help button

We've added a Help button at the bottom of the screen. Clicking on it opens a tab with useful hotkeys for selection, navigation, and tools. These hotkeys make navigating your digital twin easier and faster, providing you with a seamless and efficient experience.




We've introduced some additional features inside the More button at the bottom of the screen, enhancing your digital twin experience.
You'll now find a settings button that allows you to adjust the app settings.

In addition, you can conveniently access the recorder for capturing videos and screenshots directly within the app. Plus, you can create a virtual room from your digital twin, offering a new way to explore.

To keep the main view buttons clean, we've moved the VR mode inside the More button as well.

In short, the updated frontline App's Digital Twin section is all about making things easier and more fun. With a fresh look and handy features, it's simple to navigate and customize. You can explore different parts easily and even see inside things with X-rays. Plus, there's a Help button if you need it. The frontline App's changes make playing with digital twins simple!
