Interactive Flow Builder - Translate with AI

Interactive Flow Builder - Translate with AI

Introduction

We're excited to introduce a new way to translate your flows – Translate with AI. No more wasting time downloading separate Excel sheets for each language. Now, with AI translation, you can instantly translate your content into multiple languages at once.

For users who prefer working with Excel sheets, don’t worry – we’re keeping that option available as well.

Notes

Note: To use this new feature, please contact the frontline team.

Getting Started

To begin using AI translation, open one of your flows in frontline Web. At the top of the flow, select the Language option to add new languages. You’ll notice a new button labeled Translate with AI.

If you only have one language selected, the button will be grayed out since there’s no other language to translate to.

Adding Languages and Starting the Translation

In the Language Management window, click on the Add Languages button at the top. Select your desired languages by ticking the appropriate boxes, then click ADD to confirm.

Once the languages are added, a pop-up will appear asking if you'd like to translate the new language(s) with AI. Click Translate with AI to see the magic happen!

Notes

Note: If you prefer, you can choose Leave them for now and translate later from the Language Management section.

Translating a Flow

Before the translation begins, a pop-up will appear displaying the number of nodes in the flow and requesting some guidance from you.

  1. Replace Existing Text:
If you already have a translation in one of the languages or simply want to fill in the empty nodes, this is the option to choose.

  2. Skip These Nodes:
The AI will recognize nodes that have already been translated, allowing you to skip them and translate only the nodes that are not yet translated.

  3. Add Translation to Missing Fields:
Sometimes, certain fields in a node might be left untranslated or skipped. The AI will handle these missing fields and complete the translation.

Once you select one of these three options, the translation process will begin.

Once the translation is complete, you can click on the Languages tab at the top and seamlessly switch between languages. You'll notice that all the nodes have been translated with minimal effort.

Step Translation

Another option for translation is translating individual nodes. Each node now features a new Translate with AI button at the bottom. This allows you to translate a specific node without having to run the entire translation process again.

Translating a Single Language

If you want to add a new language without translating all the others, you can translate just that language. In the Language Management window, next to each language, click on the settings button (three dots), and choose Translate with AI. This will translate only that language, leaving the rest untouched.

Conclusion

With the new Translate with AI feature, translating your flows has never been easier or more efficient. Whether you need to translate an entire flow, individual nodes, or just a single language, you have the flexibility to manage translations with minimal effort. This tool simplifies the process, saving you time and ensuring accuracy across multiple languages. And for those who prefer the traditional Excel method, that option remains available as well.

If you have any questions or need assistance with this feature, don’t hesitate to reach out to the frontline team. Enjoy the streamlined translation experience!
