Whether you're planning a setup or just curious, this guide will walk you through how to use AR in a few simple steps.

How to Experience Your Digital Twin in AR

1. Open the Frontline Mobile App

  • Ensure you have the latest version of frontline.io installed on your mobile device.

  • Log in to your account.

2. Access Your Digital Twin

  • Navigate to the Knowledge base section within the app.

  • Access the relevant project.

  • Select the model you want to visualize in AR.

3. Activate AR Mode

  • Tap the AR View button to enter Augmented Reality mode at the bottom of the screen.

4. Choose Your AR Mode

Manual Mode

  • Scan your surroundings using your device's camera.

  • Once a surface is detected, tap to place the model.

  • Use gestures to rotate, scale, and reposition it as needed.

Automatic Mode

  • A red hologram of the model will appear on your screen.

  • Align the hologram with the real-world object or placement area.

  • Once aligned, the AR model will snap into place automatically.

5. Interact with Your Model in AR

  • Walk around to explore different angles.

  • Tap on various components to reveal metadata and additional details.
