Guest Users

Guest Users

Introduction:

Guest users are designed for temporary, controlled, and limited interactions with the system.
Their role focuses on accessing predefined resources or services without requiring registration.
  • Guest users are not registered in the system. Instead, their access is facilitated through a specific link provided to them.
  • The link defines the scope of their access, meaning it determines what content or functionalities they can interact with. This ensures secure and limited engagement.

Specific Activities for Guest Users

Guest users can:
  • Access Content: View or interact with content shared via the link.
  • Participate in Remote Support: Join support sessions, likely to resolve issues or receive guidance.
  • Use Immersive Room: Enter immersive environments as allowed by the link.

Analytics Collection

  • Data on guest user interactions is collected anonymously. For example, the system might track how many guest users accessed content or participated in a session without linking this data to individual identities.

Role Limitations

  • Guest users cannot create content, manage the system, or have the personalized access privileges of registered users.
  • Their role is primarily reactive (e.g., consuming content, receiving support) rather than proactive (e.g., contributing to or managing the system).

Use Case Example

A guest user might be:

  • A customer joining a product demonstration via an invitation link.
  • A trainee attending a single immersive training session.
  • A client receiving remote support for a specific issue.
