Interactive Flows have a wide range of uses, such as for training, assemblies, maintenance, troubleshooting, and more.
You can either create new content directly in the Interactive Flow, or convert existing content into frontline.io.
Before diving into creating an Interactive Flow, ensure you activate the necessary settings, such as:
Text To Speech: TTS reads the title and description or only the title of the node (step)
TTS and Animations behavior: Basic Set Up - TTS completes reading the text, following animation will start
Speed of animation
Sound: yes/no
End survey: yes/no
When preparing the Interactive Flow, there are several topics to consider:
Language - Content available in several languages
TTS (Text To Speech) active for Title and/or Description
Note: Nodes without an interaction require the viewer to click next in the flow.
Warning node - color
Repeated steps - If certain steps are repeated among other Interactive Flows, it's best to separate the flows and use a "Go to Procedure" node to connect for example the safety steps.
For example, Safety, is typically repeated among other Interactive Flows. This increases rollout time, and improves re-use.
Style (relevant for 2D procedures only)
Each node can have its own styling. For 2D procedures, it's important to decide on the preferred position of the title and description fields in the Interactive Flow.
Best practice: use one kind of styling for the Interactive Flow
inherit the format of your copied text by pasting the text in the title/ description. Or write directly and style your text within the fields
