frontline.io Web - Avatar settings

Introduction

This article aims to provide a comprehensive guide on managing your account settings and creating an avatar. Whether you're new to the platform or looking to make changes, this article will walk you through the process step-by-step.

Hey There!

If you take a look at the top of the frontline.io Web platform, you'll notice a small icon located next to the notification bell icon.

This is your Avatar Icon, which displays the avatar you've created. It serves as your virtual representation, allowing others to recognize you during meetings, assign you tasks, and identify you when entering a virtual room.

Upon clicking the icon, a pop-up menu with three options will appear:

  1. Account Settings - This section contains settings for both your account and profile.

  2. Switch Workspaces - In case you have multiple workspaces, you can switch to another one from this section.

  3. Logout - This option logs you out of the platform.

Account Settings

On this page, you will find your account settings organized into different sections. You can interact with each section to make changes, or simply review the information to ensure that everything is correct and up-to-date.

Update Personal Info

If you wish to update your personal information, you can easily do so by accessing the Personal Info section. Here, you can modify your name, and surname, and add your email and phone number. Additionally, if you prefer to use a different profile picture, you can upload an image without using the avatar creator.

3D Avatar

Now, let's talk about the fun stuff! Your 3D Avatar is the perfect way to express yourself and showcase your creativity on the platform. To get started, simply click on the "Edit Avatar Settings" button, which will direct you to the avatar creation page.

From here, you have two options. You can either upload a selfie photo, and the app will automatically generate your 3D avatar based on your facial features, or you can customize your avatar from scratch.

With an array of hairstyles, eye colors, clothes, and even masks to choose from, the possibilities are endless. So, let your imagination run wild, and design a unique avatar that represents you!

Once you've saved your avatar, you'll be directed back to the account settings screen. From there, you can continue scrolling down to access more personal information.

Before doing so, you'll be prompted to select your dominant hand by choosing either right or left.

Quick Login for AR Headset

The Quick Login feature allows users to log in to their AR headset quickly and securely using a QR code and a personal PIN.

How It Works:
Generate a QR Code – The system provides a unique QR code linked to your account.
Scan the QR Code – Using your AR headset, scan the QR code to initiate the login process.
Enter Your PIN – For added security, you’ll be prompted to enter your 4-digit personal PIN to complete the login.

Updating Your Password

If you'd like to update your password, you can do so in this section. Simply enter your current password, and then select a new one that meets your preferences.

Preferred Viewing Language

You have the option to choose your preferred viewing language. This will change the language of the frontline.io website to the language of your choice, making it more comfortable for you to use.

Close Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to close your account, you can do so here.

Your Personal Data

To ensure your privacy and security, we provide you with the following information:

Active Sign-Ins:
We list all the devices currently signed in to your account, along with their IP address and the time and date of their last login.

Workspace List:
If you are a member of multiple workspaces in your organization, you will see a list of them here, along with your different roles and the time and date of your last login for each workspace.

Saving your changes

Once you have reviewed and updated your personal data, it's important to save your changes. Look for the small icon of a diskette on the right side of the screen - this is the save button.

When you're ready to save, simply click on the diskette icon. Your changes will then be updated and saved to your account.
