Digital Twin Editor - Settings Tab

Introduction

Welcome to the Settings tab, your first step to customizing your digital twin experience. Here, you'll find options to tailor your digital twin to your preferences, from setting the perfect thumbnail to adjusting the default view and fine-tuning its position and rotation.

Digital Twin Thumbnail

Get the perfect shot of your digital twin by exploring different angles. Once you've found the one that truly captures its essence, simply click the "Change Thumbnail" button to save it. This thumbnail will represent your digital twin whenever you access it from the web or app.

Default View

Ensure your digital twin opens to your preferred perspective every time. Set your default view by positioning your twin just as you did for the thumbnail, then click "Set Default View" to lock it in.

Default Position

Take control of your digital twin's placement and orientation. If your twin isn't aligned as desired, select the top parent in the parts catalog to access the selection tool. Adjust the model's position or rotation until it meets your specifications, then save your changes with the "Save Digital Twin Position" button.

Notes
Note: To see your changes, Publish your digital twin in the digital twin Dashboard on the web browser.

Conclusion

To sum it up, the Settings tab is where you make your digital twin your own. Pick the perfect thumbnail, set its view, and adjust its position to suit your style. Just remember to save your changes.
