Introduction

After creating a Digital Twin, you will have to start and create the Interactive Flow for that Digital Twin.

They can be an overview of the model, a training model, an assembly procedure, or a technical procedure for changing one of the components of the Digital Twin.

But before creating a flow, here is a brief explanation of the Interactive Flow dashboard.

Very similar to the Digital Twin Dashboard, here you can change some of the settings for the Interactive Flow.

Here are the main options that you have:

Edit flow

Open the Interactive Flow editor and start creating the Interactive Flow steps.

Settings

Edit the Digital Twin settings.

Top buttons

Share

Share your Interactive Flow with others via URL and QR code.

Run

Run your Interactive Flow.

Preview in Browser

View the WEB version of your Interactive Flow (requires WebGL asset builder).

Publish

Make changes visible to other users by publishing the flow.

Three Dots Menu:

  • Duplicate: Create a duplicate of your Interactive Flow.

  • Move to: Move your Interactive Flow to a different folder.

  • Create Task: Create a task for yourself or another user using the Inter Active Flow.

  • Basic Statistics: View statistics like average duration, views, and completed sessions.

  • Unpublish: Remove the Interactive Flow from being accessible online.

  • Delete: Permanently eliminate the Interactive Flow

History

Just like in a Digital Twin, this page displays the most recent version of the edited Flow and a version that has not yet been published by one of the content creators. For further details, please refer to the article's history section.

Settings

To access the settings of the Interactive Flow, click on the "Edit Settings" button. This will open a window where you can modify various aspects of your Flow.

Title

Change the name of your Interactive Flow to the desired name.


โ€‹Description

Add a brief description of your Interactive Flow for users to read.

Visible to

Choose which roles in the workspace can see your Interactive Flow by selecting or deselecting the appropriate checkboxes.

Cover photo

Make it easier for users to find your Interactive Flow by adding a cover photo. This photo will be displayed when searching for your Interactive Flow in the frontline.io web app.

Player Attributes

Here, you can modify the Interactive Flow settings and customize the user's interaction experience. Hovering over the "i" logo displays information about each attribute and its impact on the user's interaction with the Interactive Flow.

Connected to a 3D Model

To execute a Interactive Flow, you must connect it to a 3D model, a Digital Twin. This connection enables the Interactive Flow to interact with the Digital Twin while seeing a Interactive Flow.

Run procedure in

The Interactive Flow can be run in two modes. First, the user can play in 2D mode, where they only see the step-by-step description without interacting with the 3D Digital Twin.

Second, the user can play in 3D mode, where they see the 3D Digital Twin along with its description, but cannot play in 2D mode alone.

Both - The user can choose between playing the Interactive Flow in 2D or 3D mode.
